Dale Elwell is a full-time evangelist with a genuine love for Jesus Christ. As a servant of the Lord, Dale has a sincere desire to help local churches become more effective in reaching the lost and making disciples. As an evangelist, Dale strives to be ready “in season and out of season” to preach the word of God to various audiences.
In 1996, Mr. Elwell was ordained into the gospel ministry (Calvary Baptist Church, McLeansville, NC). In 1997, Dale announced his call to be an evangelist and founded Cross Culture Ministries. Cross Culture (a synonym for the church) is focused on IGNITING THE NEXT GENERATION FOR CHRIST! It is the organization’s goal to evangelize, equip, and engraft teenagers into the life of the overall church. Dale & Cross Culture have placed a high priority in helping churches find ways to take youth ministry out of isolation and unite teenagers with the older generations in the church.
Mr. Elwell is committed to rightly dividing the word of God through study and solid expository preaching. He specializes in sharing “real life” illustrations that help bridge the message of scripture into the current culture so that listeners are tuned in from start to finish, expecting to hear God speak.
In addition to his ministry as an evangelist, Dale brings a rare combination of experience to the table. Dale was raised among a family of pastors and had the privilege of learning from their examples and network of pastor friends. From his parents, Dale has learned to LOVE THE CHURCH through both good and bad times. Since stepping out into full-time ministry, Dale has served as youth minister, interim pastor, interim youth minister, adjunct professor (Intro. to Counseling & intro. to Youth Ministry), and Spiritual Life Director at a facility for teens in state’s custody.
Dale holds a Masters of Divinity w/biblical counseling degree from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. However, he considers his greatest credentials to be God’s anointing, and the support of his family. Dale has been married to wife, Brantlee Elwell, for 22 years. Together, they have 4 children: Caleb 18, Drew 17, Hannah 15, and Hope 2 years old.
