Backpack Ministry

The Lighthouse Baptist Church Youth Group is working on a backpack ministry to help provide the homeless with gently used backpacks that are filled with basic needs such as:

Washcloths, soap, combs, toothpaste, toothbrushes, wet wipes, hand sanitizer, toilet paper, plastic spoons, and such food items as chicken or tuna salad kits, Vienna Sausage, granola bars, breakfast bars, peanut butter, saltine crackers, Little Debbie Snack Cakes, bottled water, juice boxes, apple sauce, puddings, fruit cups, and pocket bibles
